Tender document for Waste Water Treatment
1. Tender Invitation
1.1 Myanmar Winery and Distillery Company, a division of International beverage and trading company limited intends to implement a secondary wastewater treatment. This plant takes the wastewater from the "Primary Treatment-Biogas (Completed Mix Biogas Waste water treatment System)". The plant shall be established at Hlegu.
1.2 The following are the specification guideline for the respective plants' technical data.
(1) Waste Water Treatment
* Raw Waste Water from Distillation Column (Spent Wash) (Raw material Grain, Rice, Corn). The wastewater after the Decanter to Biogas is:
Waste Water qty 270-300 m3/day
pH (S U) 5.0-7.0
BOD (mg/l) 15,000-20,000 ppm
COD (mg/l) 35,000 ppm
TSS (mg/l) <1500 ppm
After Treatment, these system effluents to Secondary Treatment are:
BOD reduction Removal
85 ± 5%
COD reduction Removal
65 ± 5%
Temperature 35—40 C
TSS' < 2500
• We need the secondary treatment to treat Biogas effluent to:
• BOD less than 50 ppm
• COD less than 150 ppm
For above said requirement in accordance with Myanmar Regulation to discharge to Public Drainage. The primary may have the BOD load flutuation to 30,000 ppm. The secondary treatments need to take this fluctuation.
We also need this secondary Plant to be expanded for our future plant expansion (Estimate Load will be 50%-70% of the current waste).
The plant has 4acres of Land for this secondary treatment and can acquire more land if the system proceeded.
